| At DANCE SHOWCASE USA, we hope that all dancers will come
to have fun! We want our dancers to have a good learning experience
whether they are performing for the first time or have 10 years of
experience. We have tried to put ourselves in the position of the
dancers and their parents to determine what type of atmosphere we would
want if our children were dancing. Everyone that comes to our
competition will receive an award. All entries will receive a
medallion from adjudication and many entries will receive a trophy for
1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finishes within each category. Everyone will receive a ribbon for their hard work. We have tried to cover all the bases in making sure the competition is professional and beneficial to all dancers. We have a marlee dance floor that is used at all of the competitions. We use backstage personnel with head sets to make sure that no dancer or group is called to go on stage until he/she/they are ready to perform. The personnel backstage are either parents of former dancers or former dancers themselves that have had many years of experience performing at dance competitions. We have tables set up with various supplies that are needed by the dancers before they perform. We have an announcer that is very talented in the area of fine arts and his background is really unchallenged when it comes to knowing Broadway and the sights and sounds of theatre. Our scoring system has been developed to be efficient. The results of each session are available virtually as soon as the last judge's score is input to the system. Our sales staff is available for purchases of t-shirts, patches, and other dance related items. Professional video taping is done at each competition with the option for parents to purchase a copy of their child's performance. We strive to make our competitions very pleasant for parents and dancers alike. We cater to our dancers to insure that all dancers have wonderful experiences at our competitions. We are a small competition but we believe our QUALITY and CARING outweighs quantity.
